When I was a little girl I remember my Mom would let us have hours upon hours of open ended art time - I was homeschooled by the way.
One of my favorite things to do was to take "trash" and turn it into something awesome. Now that I am a mom, I want to instill the same love of art and imagination into my Mila.
I also want to share our latest cardboard creation with you guys! I believe that creating toys from recycled items, teaches little ones creativity and also how to take care of our beautiful planet in a fun way!
Learning through play is the best way to learn.....

I have been so obsessed with vintage campers and decided that Mila's critters needed their own! We always have so many boxes lying around so I picked a pretty white one and got to work.

The whole project took about an hour but it was so worth it! Mila loved it and played with it for hours.

I Hope you guys love this idea and try out some recycling with your own kids! Lets work together to keep this world beautiful and clean and teach our little guys that it can be fun to recycle.
Leave me a comment below if you would like me to create a tutorial for you guys to follow.

Nia
